Since 2017, Metricell has made a company-wide commitment to support local and national charities. 2019 has seen the most ambitious support on this front so far, by supporting a different charity per quarter. From the British Heart Foundation to the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance, Metricell have tried to do their part for those in need. This September saw a delegation from the company take on a local Tough Mudder course – five kilometres of obstacles, electric shocks and mud – all in the name of charity. Thanks to the incredibly generous donations of family and friends, we raised over £1000 this quarter.
The KSSAA provides essential medical services to injured people in remote places, and helped over 2000 patients in 2018. The money we have raised will go straight to helping this wonderful charity in its mission.
We believe that charity is an important cause, and take great pride in giving back to the local community. Our work with a number of different organisations has led to many great experiences, including Halloween raffles, sponsored bike rides and more. Our employees enjoy the fun, and we’re able to provide a great help to those in need. What’s not to love? As we continue to grow our charity activity, we are sure to undertake more and more ambitious projects, all in the name of teamwork, fun and charity.
