Learning and Development

We value our staff and strongly believe in providing continual support and training throughout their career. We also provide an annual company-wide training week, allowing employees to either participate or access a variety of topics, activities and discussions.

Team Days Out

All our offices maintain a full calendar of social events and we link up with our overseas colleagues virtually too. So even if you aren't based at our headquarters, you'll have the opportunity to take part in local social events, celebrating regional holidays with parties and meals out, and of course, team building activities like riding dirt bikes pictured here in Malaga!

Trainee Positions

Here at Metricell, we offer a range of apprenticeships, placement, and training schemes, designed to provide the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the workplace. Our apprenticeship and placement programs provide you with the opportunity to gain practical experience within a supportive environment, whilst the training on offer helps employees stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are a great way to enter the workforce for those just starting out in their career, or later in life who fancy a career change, but also for existing employees wanting to upskill. There are many levels of apprenticeships ranging from intermediate to degree level. Past apprentices we have supported include Digital Marketing, Software Development, Customer Support, Project Management, Business Analysis and Software Testing.

Placements

We recruit several placement students each year from local universities as part of our recruitment strategy to find emerging talent. Although we can’t guarantee, if successful on an industry placement this often leads to a full-time position at the end of the degree. Our placement students always comment on how much they have learnt and go back to complete their last year of university with a lot more confidence and acquired skills.

T-Levels

T Levels are a new qualification and are an equivalent to 3 A Levels, helping knowledge development, good work ethic and practical skills within the workplace. T Level students spend 80% of their course in the classroom, and 20% office-based, meaning students can put essential skills they have learnt into action.

We take great care in making sure our office space is the best it can be.

The Big Blue

You can't miss our office on Foundry Lane. We have a large open plan office space with many meeting rooms and a conference centre. There's parking on site too!

The Foundry

The Foundry occupies the ground floor of our headquarters and is equipped with a pool table, comfy couches, plenty of seating and a kitchen.

The Gym

We offer a fully equipped gym as well as a range of different sporting social events including badminton, basketball, football, rounders and rock climbing.

Conference Centre

We host a range of events – from DevCon, the development event of the year; to our Customer Summit, where we welcome visitors from around the world!
